A swim spa is the pool a New Zealand backyard can really hold. The airless current moves up to 19,000 litres a minute in a smooth, level flow — wide enough to swim freely, strong enough to train against. Resistance adjusts from an easy breaststroke to a competitive 1:14/100m pace at the touch of a button. It's the swim system the USA Olympic team trains in.

When the workout's done, the same pool becomes the place the family actually wants to be. Kids splash safely in their own end. Dual-zone models hold one side at a cool 27°C for swimming and the other at 39°C — so the adults stay close on the warm side while the kids play. One purchase, used by everyone, year-round.
